Let me start by saying autoanything has stepped up in taking care of me with whats going on.

    I ordered the pro comp 7031s 20x9 0mm offset and 5"bs 108mm hub bore.

They shipped fedex home delivery, which does not require signature . The fedex guy put the damaged box on the bottom and hid the messed up Side in the corner. My wife was home came out and checked the boxes to bring them in and caught the guy before he left and asks about the damaged box. His reply was it was like that when I loaded my truck, do you want me to take it back. She took pictures before she moved that box and I called autoanything.

They said no worries we will file a claim with fedex and ship you another. That night i get home from work and open the rest of them to find marks on the front of the rim around the edge as to no way it came from fedex it had to be from pro comp. I called them up again they sent me 2 more rims so now i have seven rims in total. They called pro comp and said to file a claim on shipping and if it was denied they would get involved. I get home to check the other two i just got in and one has a cross threaded center cap bolt thats only in a few threads and locks up. I got it to thread in once i worked at it but whats the deal. I know the box has made in china but is pro comp normally this bad with quality control???

Autoanything told me top keep the rims until the 27th if this month if they have not come out and checked them or picked them up to dispose of the items. Ahhh not ill keep them and use for spares or make someone a killer deal since they are very small marks and can be fixed pretty easy.

Am i being too picky on how i want my new rims to be or would you do the same. After my discount due to i work for the company that owns the site(autozone) and after rebate ill be in it for 652. They take care of shipping. I

Is it a problem with Pro Comp or FedEx?

These are the rims and in matte black or flat black which ever one you want to call it. Picture looks blue but thats from my cell flash.

i took the ring off them along with the rest of the packaging and noticed the marks right away but are small. since the rims are black its very easy to notice something like this.

This is not where the paint or powder coat was hit its actually a little dent in the rim.

The two that have small marks in front lip are all pro comp the one that has a split box on the bottom could be either not sure. But when i called autoanything they said they have to follow the manufacture instructions and file a shipping claim. They said i could install all the good rims but to hold on to the damaged ones for 3 weeks and dispose of them if they dont do anything with them after that 3 weeks is up. Which is 8/27/14 after that i can do what i want with them.

NOTE: Only one box was messed up through shipping or pro comp and they accepted it like that so really its fedex that should have denied the box if it was like that before they accepted them to ship. I'm not mad but its crazy on how many rims it takes to get 4 good ones.

Sounds like AutoAnything really stepped up. It looks like very small damage and you will probably get more dings in within the first week, but I'd want them perfect to start with.

I shipped a set of four to Guam. I can't remember who I ordered them through. One of the boxes were damaged like yours, but all of the wheels were fine with no blemishes. Bummer for ya man. I know it's a pain. It does seem like maybe the dents had to come from the factory though.

Thats what im saying I want to be the person to mess up my rims not someone else. The damage dosent effect the rim at all but its cosmetic really. I paid over 6 bills I want my things blemishes free. They have took care of everything so far. Only thing I have not liked so far is how many emails ive got from the whole ordeal instead of phone calls

Um, is that your foot in the bottom pic. If so, you have some explaining to do.

I agree that you should get them in perfect condition, their are yours to fuck up, not get them that way.

Wife took the picture and thats her foot.

All the shops around have a machine to where it dozen have to hit the lip the just get the be a on and the other part glides slightly over the rim. If they jack them up thats between them and me. Ill go to a local place because the big chain stores are little less careless sometimes
