Hey guys, new Tacoma owner here. My basic SR5 truck came with steel wheels with some ugly chrome hubcaps.

I'm looking at the Pro Comp Series 69 Alloys in matte black 16 inch to put on my truck.

I'm slightly concerned that with a 265/75/16 tire that I will have some rubbing on the back of my fender with the pro comps having just 4 inches of back spacking instead of the 5.5 on the factory wheel.

Should I be worried? Anyone else running this wheel on a factory suspension setup?

Pictures of new truck and ugly wheels...

    Welcome to TW

I have that size tire on my procomp 69 wheels. I also have about 2 inches of lift on the front. I had my alignment caster set forward a bit to move the wheel away from the back of the fender, and had to remove my mudflaps, otherwise, no rubbing anywhere.

There is a plethora of threads on this exact topic, and you should have no trouble finding an answer to your question by just searching on this website. goodluck!

So are you saying without the lift and other suspension adjustments that it will rub?

Likely, but it's not a hard and fast rule. Look around TW a bit more, and I'm sure you will find the answers you are looking for

Thanks, I've been reading on here for the past week straight. I wouldn't be so worried if the back spacing was closer to stock.
