So long story short i did not do much research and impulsed bought this lift kit
    http://www.4wheelparts.com/Suspensi...IZcDrTx7rKoGgDwA-MMDlC17v9BhL56AbEaAqQH8P8HAQ

I have a couple question anyone have this kit installed?

My UCA's were pretty much touching the coils and the angle was extreme so i bought rough country UCA's witch was a PIA to put on because these coils are so friggen strong it was almost impossible to get the UCA's back into place.

Also this kit rides rough!!! Is there a way to either just replace these coils or is it easier to just get a coil over in there?

If i remember right the springs are rated over 700 lbs so the ride will be stiff as hell without any weight up front.

Not to sure if those shocks have replacement springs available.

Call the vendor. Express concern. See what they offer as remedy.

Research in advance is good. Hopefully you won't have too expensive a learning experience here.

IMHO your best bet may be to call Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road and see what she recommends for parts based on your goals and useage of the truck.

If none of your current parts would be reused, pull off the whole shebang and sell it on eBay for whatever the market will bear. Someone will want it.

It's either that or keep punishing yourself with the buckboard you have now.

    Good luck!

I'm starting to think @Clearwater Bill gets a finder's fee from HS. Always referring people in every lift thread!:thumbsup:

I bought my OME coils from them and my lean spacer. Their CS is great! I ordered the wrong spacer and Marie was able to correct it before it shipped.

:gossip: Shhh. That's my goal. I have a 5 lug and also no need for lift. But one day I'll need shocks and maybe helper springs. Just building a little rep in advance.:anonymous:

But seriously, I can't recall anyone ever complaining about their service or products?

And with a crazy number of lifting threads every day, why not just point them to a solid vendor from the get go? If left to read all the user responses using varying combos of parts, they just get more confused, even if some of the choices are good.

Too many don't know that 'level' is a looks only thing, the difference between a strut and a shock or a wheel and a rim. So let the good vendors help them sort it all out.

When I first started to look into lifting, the acronyms OME and OEM threw me off. But I agree with you, I was just poking fun that you always reply with the same reference to HS lol

Another solid vendor is Wheelers Offroad. I just ordered 5100/OME from them and they were able to beat Headstrongs price by ~$65. Don't know if it was because I asked for a military discount or if it's part of the 4th of July sale, but I'm not complaining! You just have to send them a PM with what you want and they'll put together a quote.
