my left one stopped working, and i don’t think the bulbs can be changed correct? so i have to buy a whole new pod, either OEM or wouldn’t an option from RI work?

is it the SR-M series pro that will fit directly into the stock housing??

Yeah, there isn’t a bulb. They’re a chip board in a extrusion housing. Like a mini light bar. Haven’t seen too many problems with this as they should have a long life span. I have a sport so I don’t know about these fog lights but I do have 5 light bars on my truck and I wouldn’t know how to go about replacing them without replacing the entire unit. I mean take it all apart with swap the circuit board?

You should be able to warranty it, (if your still under warranty)

I’d ask them to show you proof, and/or contact Toyota. It’s 3 year /36k according to the website. I would assume only bulbs and replaceable items (which these are not) are 12month/12k. These are sealed units.

I'd try to get it replaced under warranty, if not call RI, maybe they can rebuild it for a fee, or see if they fall under RI's lifetime warranty?

Doesn't hurt to ask, sometimes those premium brands make things right, just to take care of customers and keep their good name.

well RI got back to me and it’s considered an OEM part for toyota so they don’t cover it under their warranty... looks like i gotta buy a new one damn it, at least i saw that some dealers online have the fog for sale for under 200 because that retail price is ridiculous

    I can see that.
You'd think something so expensive, easy to remove/install, and cheap to ship, they'd at least be able to repair. I'd have a hard time shelling out the money for the same thing. Hell, it's broke anyway, crack it open and see what's going on, ask around, you may be able to find an electrical gizmo guy locally to tinker with it.
