PRO Grill install today

Depending on how cold it is. Any tips or tricks I should know about?

 

Don't fuck it up

 

Just search on youtube. There are several install videos floating around. I would certainly not do it in this current cold weather. Wait until it warms up to avoid snapping something.

 

Installed mine yesterday. I installed my grill in my “warm” basement. Hardest part, popping out the old inner “grill”. Once that is out...outer grille rim comes out easy. My suggestion, start at the bottom of your grill. After removing all the screws, start pushing out the main inner grille tabs first carefully. It’s a pain...so their aren’t any real videos showing this. Take your time....maybe 20 minutes to get them out. I found working from the bottom, around to the top was the best way.

 

Make sure plastic is warm before popping in those clips. Cold plastic breaks easier than warm plastic.

 

I found using pliers helped push the tabs out easier.

Got it installed. After wasting time trying to remove the original outer grill piece I raided the kitchen of butter knifes and stuck them in the slots and it popped right out! Then I did the same with the main grill. I did this indoors after the grill piece was close to room temperature.

So I am happy and happy to report that I didn't fuck it up.
