sorry this is not the same. Im not seeing anyone with a pro grille trying to fool anyone into thinking they have a pro when they dont. Just like if I got the SR5 grille, would anyone accuse me for trying to pass it off as an SR5? Maybe I just wanted an all black grill. I like the SR5 grille if @ExplorHer puts it on the market, maybe ill try to buy it. Now if youre sticking on Pro badges or V6 badges on a 4 cylinder SR5's, thats totally different.

Pro owners want exclusivity....news flash. Its a toyota truck. To the untrained eye, they all look the same...and honestly wtf cares what you do to your truck. Not to mention, almost everyone who comes to these forums, strip perfectly good working stock parts and replace them with something else. If you wanted something no one has...you should have bought a McLaren. Just sayin.

Unless of course your this guy: with his Lambor-Fiero-ghini. Have fun with your truck sorry for the rant.

Thank you, they are only 265/75/16. My Tacoma is not lifted, and the wheels help too.

I actually really like the SR grill. I think it looks super clean with your setup as is! But both are good options!

My 17 came with this grill. You can see why grill swap outs were popular.

Keep the SR grill, I have the exact same truck and looks better in my opinion. What size tires and lift you running? I have 265/75/16s with a 2" level our truck r identical minus AVS window visors

That's what I did I had the files to do the tailgate handle and the insert so I cut those n applied I also did the glovebox I have the cut file for my cutter for that as well!!!

I went with 5% on the front 2 windows n windshield strip and then wrapped 20% around the rest, tinted it myself

dang you dod it yourself?? thats crazy good was it easy to apply and do yourself? where did you get materials from?

i was thinking about buying the decals and and new badges but i use to work in a body shop so i figured id sand it down paint and give fresh clear coat but for the handle on tail gate i just used an oil based sharpie and clear coated it

I have a vinyl cutter and used that. Install was simple I just used my tint solution of water n baby shampoo. Sprayed the glovebox peeled the decal and set it in there and then used a flat plastic contour vinyl wrapping squeegee to flatten them out n push out all the water solution. Let it sit for a few hours came back and made sure they were stuck good by squeegeeing them again

I had Toyota throw in a Pro grill when I bought my Taco. But I'd take that SR grill over a chrome Off Road grill any day. WTF was Toyota thinking???
