Nice, all about the sport getting larger. Maybe some better tv next year for mx. This whole mx season has been nothing but illegal YouTube streaming.

I agree 100%. The tv deal should be unified next year, fortunately. I would imagine itll be an nbc / peacock thing again, if i had to guess.

Be nice if it was an all year Peacock TV. Fingers crossed.

250B was a good race. Those announcers are something else. Race starts at 6.16. Loving all the chaos.

Mike Alessi still racing. Can't stop that guy.

Yeah, he got the +40 and +50 wins today. I was never a fan of him in the pros, but he still rips a bike.

Dude was a stud amateur. Sucks that he never reached his potential. Hope he's doing well.

1 of our locals (he's the dude I mentioned back when Ferry went to Yamaha. They are teammates - Gavin Towers) beat Rider D in a moto. That's pretty sweet. Happy for him.

We get Ferrandis, Mookie and Wilson back. So that's exciting. Also, supposedly ClubMX offered McElrath a spot to finish the year out on. So that is a lot better than his original plan of privateer Yamahas lol.

Pretty wild how much Privateer has evolved from some 20 years ago. Factory-backed vs true Privateer has so much more distinction now. Remeber Nick Wey? Dude was living the van life for nearly 2 decades before it was cool haha.

Ya I think sometimes the lines are blurred about who is a privateer. To me, if you are buying your own bikes (mostly) and doing things on your own, that's a true privateer. Then you have guys who aren't Factory but have some level of team support, like a rider on Firepower Honda etc. Then you have a team like Club MX that is Factory-supported and of course the full-on Factory teams. So Shane went from a (somewhat) Factory support team (at the time -BTO) to no ride. To Factory fill in rider (Husky), then looking to buy his own bikes to do his own thing (privateer) to finishing the year on a Factory support team (Club MX.) Quite a ride in 1 year lol.
