Also, Leblanc was riding a Honda this weekend so it appears he is indeed out at Star.

^^edit*Vital just posted an interview with him. It appears he could be done racing. Wow. What a weird year. The kid wasn't even supposed to go pro this year. Then they decided he would run the full series, after Rd 2 and now he's looking at potentially being done racing. He said he has a job and may just ride for fun. That's crazy. I wish him the best.

I hope he bounces back. Kind of a weird setting for an interview, in that he's out riding but speaks to unknowns of the future, eh? Hopefully vital staged this a bit for him to get the word out. Idk. That's just the pessimism in me talking at this point.

The kid kind of got shafted to be honest. Didn't really get a fair shake. But this sport is tough to make it. Honestly, I think he's still good enough to ride for another Factory team. So I wish him the best regardless. I just was hoping I was wrong when I heard he may be out at Star. Then I saw that interview and just felt bad for the kid.

 

Unfortunately the seems to be Star's program - next man up whether you're ready or not. Kinda starting to make sense how they carry so many guys on that team.

 

Also - first world Supercross race is this weekend. Do we need to revive the Supercross thread?!

Round 6 is in Tampa. That’s real close to my location. Might come down to having to make a decision between Daytona and’ or Tampa haha.

 

Kinda wild how little time they have for transition from indoor to outdoor under the new series. That's like 9+ months of straight racing too

They have a 5 year deal with NBC Sports.
Finally we can watch motocross without freezing up and potato view.
