Yes i watched the delayed coverage. It was cool. Certain things were creative. I dont think it can be a competitor to AMA or dilute the Nationals, like they banked on. But it can be cool as a 2nd tier series. But im not sure it would survive in that form, especially given the cost of world travel etc. Its dirtbikes so ill watch. They need real tuffblocks. That cardboard boxes are embarrassing. Plus Bogle said there were huge nails throughout the dirt. So they have some things to address.

After this weekend I really do like the idea of a global tour format. Maybe not so much that it providers racer opportunity, but primarily fan base engagement.
Outside of that, man it was pretty tough to watch. Even the US pros (aside from Eli of course) looked rough. I'm not a fan of the steel ramp, track layout seemed wayyyy too elementary for how massive that stadium is, and the GP format just feels way too short. I get that's the purpose, but if you blinked you missed the entire 250 class. Agree with ya it's 2nd tier a best, but I feel like even the Brazil Arenacross that J Hill raced last month had more finesse to it than WSX Cardiff.
Super bummed to see Reedy, Grant and Deano all go out on the same section, too. I'm a pessimistic asshole so I'll get off my soapbox now. It was awesome to still have racing to fill the otherwise dull Sept - Dec usually without it.

I agree. All great points. But as you said, it was still cool to have some racing to watch.

Wsx was definitely different. Still fun to watch. Sucks so many people got hurt. Will it take away from supercross? Nah. Does like that it sounds like ama sx/mx will pay better for 23'. I do like we get some racing to watch in October now.

Another note pretty funny to see the internet freaking out over Roczen riding a yellow Yamaha today.

Watched the youtube show of straight rhythm that redbull does. Pretty fun watch. Kenny can whip like a madman. The guys looked like they were having a fun time out there. Bet Kenny had to dial it back a bit when the rain hit since he has wsx this weekend.

On another note I sent my suspension out for my YZ to get resprung and revalved. First time ever getting suspension professionally done. Man that quote was a kick in the balls. I knew it was going to be expensive, but damn. Not selling this bike anytime soon. Vet rider life now.

Which suspension shop did you choose? I got a quote a while back from factory connection for about $1300 on my CR250, but didn't proceed. Racetech and a couple others never returned my phone calls/emails about quotes. :boink::bikewhoops:

Welp. Clavicle wasn't set right after a couple weeks post break. Got er rebroke, set, and plated last wednesday, and it feels a thousand times better already, but that means I'm not riding until probably beginning of 2023 :pout:

    Screenshot_20221013-054452_Chrome.jpg

The bike has been staring at me neglected for almost a month now.

I went with racetech. It was right around 2k because I'm going full rebuild and revalve. Pretty sure this suspension hasn't been touched since 2012 and who knows what the last owner did dumb to it.
