That was kind of lame. Seemed like he knew he couldn’t keep the pace so he was trying block people from passing him. He looks back way too much. Hopefully once he gets some more experience he will have some good battles with Hunter and then Jett in a couple years.

 

250s have been pretty exciting to watch. It kind of makes up for the 450s being the Jett show. But Masterpool passing Factory guys on a stock KX450 is legendary. That was the highlight of the day, for me. I'll be at High Point this weekend. Pretty excited.

 

Filthy Phil will be saddling up on the 450 for you this weekend.

Edit: sounds like Roczen is racing this weekend too.

 

Ya that is certainly good news. I'll will take getting both of those guys back, to add some excitement. 2 of my buddies are racing too. I honestly think the 1 has a shot at a top 15ish.

 

I though the racing was better than the 2 CA rounds. AP doing a brake check. Ty passing factory guys and almost getting 3rd. One of these days Jett isn't going to get a good start. Might be hard with the new metal grates. Congrats on Jett, but man is he boring to watch.

250s was non stop excitement. The top 10 is intense.

 

Unadilla is one of the greatest tracks in the country. Back in the day when they held the 250 u.s. motocross grand prix, and 500 support race it was a wild weekend there. For a couple years I was asked to help out in the ktm pits that weekend. Meeting a lot of the pro racer's from here, and europe plus the team managers like Roger De Coster were the highlight of the day. The racing was good too, just wish I was good enough to be there.

 

One of these years I need to go there. I’ve been to Southwick a bunch of times as that’s the closest to me.

 

Finally caught the Lakewood replays. Deeg showing his age (immaturity). Quite a bit of carnage in the 250s. Pretty cool to see Derek Drake riding a BarX 450, I didn't think that team had 450 riders. Jett.... well, Jett is Jett - slow is fast. Wild to watch how long he stands in turns.

The track actually looked pretty good with all of the moisture we've gotten out here this year compared to others. Ruts are always tough, but this track is usually a hard packed dry-slick piece of crap.

 

I raced a number of years at southwick, its close to home. Its a good ol ass kicking sand track that likes hp.

They were hinting that jo is going to Honda. Who else were they talking about. It was a few other 250 riders switching too

 

Mathes "confirmed" Jo to Honda a while ago. Sounds like DF is in talks with Zuk, and Zuk may be making some big factory changes to get with the times / be a notable name again. Hearsay at this point, but the writing is on the wall for DF regardless of where he ends up

 

There was a rumor that Kitchen was switching to KTM but then supposedly that is not happening now. Vohland potentially out at KTM. Mosiman I think is out at Gasgas. I think him and Swoll might be on Triumph when they debut the team.

 

Mosiman might be out for good at the rate he's going...

 

Looks like Jason Anderson will be returning tomorrow as well. Slowly but surely getting back to normalcy.

As much as I would like to see Tomac racing, Jett would probably smoke him.

 

Craig was on the list last weekend, too. I don't think he's back to riding condition yet.

Sounds like Chase is out / the mono is what's got him, not the concussion

 

Jett already looks like he's bored with racing. Wish at least Chase were still in the mix to push him.

 

Even with Chase racing Jett has said he really hasn’t had to push himself yet.
