Ya, I dunno. I wouldn't say "screwed over." He can do as he pleases and he clearly prefers to stay put. And by no means is he going to take priority over Eli and Webb on the 450, for that team. That's just how it goes. If we wanted to solidify himself in the elite class, then he needed to wrap up a 250 title, in my opinion. He is capable of it, but hasn't delivered for 1 reason or another. I know injuries happen but still. So I think he would rather stay where he is familiar and have a chance to again win a 250 title, if it plays out that way. I don't know what all 450 openings are out there elsewhere. And I know some sources claim Eli is coming back but who knows. Until it's announced, we will have to wait and see.

Wild that Webb is going to sit out the rest of the season. He has a pretty good chance of winning the whole thing. On the other hand a lot of people were scratching theirs head why he stayed another year. Well next year should be fun.

Redbud is always fun to watch. I'm still loving that all this riding is on peacock. Think anyone is going to prevent Jett from having a perfect season? Chase or Ferrandis have to get a win soon.

I am a big Eli fan, probably because I used to race MTB's during John Tomac's peak years. I think he has more in the tank, I just don't think it will be enough to win another championship. With Jett and Chase in the mix it's going to be really tough to win without riding out of his comfort zone. Eli has nothing to be ashamed of, he is one of the best supercross and mx racers on the planet.

I hope I am wrong, because I would love to see him win another championship, anything is possible as this year proved.

Didn't he get a 250 SX title? I hear what you're saying, but respectfully disagree per usual lol.

JCoop was hoping to defend his title this year before jumping up.

Yes that was why he technically pointed out for 250SX. He got the following year to defend but was injured and couldn't. At the time, Star thought he was going to still be allowed to defend because he never lined up and AMA said no (because of how the rule is explained.)

But I was just saying the past 3 years he was 1 of if not the favorite to win the 250 Outdoor title. And Star was really banking on him to deliver and he didn't. I think had he been able to stack a 250 Outdoor title on the resume with his SX regional then he would be more of a hot pick up for a team looking to add him to their 450 team. I'm not sure where he would land if he decided to leave Star to pursue that. Ferrandis is supposedly either retiring or going to HEP and he has a 450 Outdoor title. So I just think JCoop is being cautious before he leaves what is probably considered the best overall team, right now. So I can't blame him. Just unfortunate and rare circumstance that Eli has stuck around longer than anyone planned. But again, there is no confirmation that Eli is for sure coming back, just a lot of strong rumors. If Eli doesn't come back, then JCoop should have a 450 spot on the team next to Webb.

He sure is something else. Dude just walks over the 450 class.

250s was fun with all the tip overs bike blow ups and vaille and jo getting a win.

The sand sure films good but does not look fun to ride

450 Moto 1 was officially the end of Chase. Ricky and James made it sound like there was going to be a battle. What I witnessed was Jett intentionally allowing Chase to get to his back tire, then proceed to put the hammer down and eliminate any confidence Chase thought he may have had.

He walks over Dylan and Chase. The stuff that Jett can see and allow his bike to work less is something else to respect. The gate drop is intense. The first minute Jett is just sending that bike.

Jett's bike is dialed, too. I don't think he lifts a tire off the ground unless it's intentional. Looks like he's just floating everywhere while everyone else is riding a bucking bronco lol.

You wouldn't believe how excited I was for him years ago to debut in 250SX and MX......now I wonder how many races he'll show up to and finish... I'd be terrified to see him jump up to 450's at this point...

Yeah, tough go for the kid for sure. His social media presence is off-putting to me, but I think he's gonna throw a wrench in things for everyone else this weekend. Jett Reynolds is out now, so it's the Jo show for PC Kawi, but I have a hunch Forkner is gonna do alright for his first race back with bionic knee.

Don't forget about Hammaker. He is still working his way back from being hurt but he has also been very solid.

Forkner should be decent. I'm sure it'll still take a while for him to get going, up to speed. He just needs to finish the year healthy and come into SX healthy and I think he can have a strong '24 season.

I'm gonna say....two races until Forkner is out again. 4 races for Hammaker.

Lmao. Guess my folks went to the race this weekend without telling anyone. Driving back now, might just follow the Kawi boys to Washougal while they're at it.

Also, this was awesome. 4th from the bottom is a South Dakota (where they're headed back to) joke if you care to look it up
