I'm one of the few that didn't think last weekend was too bad tbh. I really like how far along the drone cams have come, Jeremy and RJ did a great job, and every moto race (indoors or out) is always going to be top quality when Weig is announcing. My gripe is the timing of their commercials that subsequently made you miss like 1-2 minutes of the moto each time.

What's funny, if you go watch the replays from last weekend there are no commercials or gaps in filming from start to finish each moto.

It wasn't my truck, but a good friend's truck who unfortunately is no longer with us. I was just a rider, not the driver. Pretty cool truck though.

Mav started out so well for the first motos, then just decided to end it all with the 450 moto 2 broadcast. Made me eat my words from earlier about not having a much of a problem with them lol.

Just finished watching it on Mavtv.com. WOW, the second 450 moto was as good as the first moto. So glad Eli got his mojo back and congrats to Jason for the win. Some F-ing great racing today. Way to go Jett, hanging in and winning being sick and all.

MAV is 0 for 2, for me. Couldn't even get in for rd 1, so I watched on the youtube feed that they had set-up (due to the server crashing for ppl who streamed directly - not the app.) This week it streamed for the most part pretty well, good quality etc. But it crashed about 5 times and I'd have to restart and and get back in. It would say "network error" and then eventually get back on. Just totally unacceptable, in my opinion, for a paid service.

Anyways, the races themselves were great. Nice to see JA get an overall. Also, was glad Eli is starting to look himself. I was glad Cooper looked much better in the 250s. Hopefully he gets back up to speed, each week. Bummed for Shimoda when he tipped over. He was flying all day.

Hangtown was a good race. Finally watched the races. Those 450 motos were awesome. Those guys are just ripping on those bikes. Anderson, Tomac, and Sexton are going hard.

I'm just watching hacked videos on youtube. It seems like the coverage was a bit better. Mav jumped around on the track a bit more. Felt like they were a bit more organized. Pala seemed like they only focused on who was up front.

It's fun watching all the team fried clips after the race just to see how wild the riding is. Anyone else have a good after race youtube that is worth watching?

With Jett tearing it up on the 250, what if he wins his third title? 250 outdoor last year and 250 SX, and possibly another outdoor title. Do you bump him up to 450 and let Roczen go? Sexton is here to stay. What about Hunter, he is older than Jett but no titles although he was just barley beat out by Craig in SX 250 west this year. Thoughts???

I think Roczen is going to be gone from Factory Honda after this year, if I had to guess. And I bet they let Jett defend 1 more year before the bumping him up to 450. So I'd guess he goes 450 in '24. He's so young and like you said with Chase now just starting to turn the corner in 450s, it is much better for Honda to have Jett getting the exposure in 250s and hope Chase delivers in 450. No need to rush it.

Think you guys are right. Once Roczen retires Jett is going to take that seat. The 450 class, Jett is going to have a few years of learning to do. That 450 class is stacked. It's smart to hold him back until he is forced by AMA to advance.

Good points Sexton was only 20 when HRC moved him up to the 450, and Jett is only 18 now while Hunter is 23. I know Hunter has mentioned about wanting to get moved up tot he 450, but do you move him up because he is older and leave Jett down when he has all the titles? Tough decisions, but good for HRC for having the talent.

I have a feeling the aussie brothers will be on different teams once they move up to 450. Just my 100% biased feeling. Hunter seems like he greatly benefits from training with Jett, but I think we're about to enter the Chase Sexton era, and that only leaves room for one Lawrence on the team.

Also - anyone on here savvy with engine work? Specifically KTMs? I have some questions for someone if they don't mind entertaining my ignorance for a bit. Feel free to send me a direct message, and thanks in advance!

Ya for sure. If Roczen is gone, I'd put Hunter on 450 next year, as the #2 guy behind Chase. Leave Jett on the 250 to defend 1 more year. Just to maximize 250 exposure beforehim and Chase have to compete. Because Honda doesn't have much in the pipeline aside from Hymas for their next 250 guy.

I'm not a mechanic but I've had those bikes and/or might be able to ask someone for you, if i dont know. Feel free to pm me.
