If Levi can up his fitness game and stay away from crashes he can compete for race wins. Dude can ride. Just seems to crash or fade away. :bikewhoops:

Maybe he’ll start winning once Deegan and Shimido move up to 450s. :D
Edit: I forget about Davies. Kitchen is screwed.

Kitch has been coming back from a pretty bad injury at Daytona SX. Outdoor season wasn’t anything to talk about, but I think he’ll be competitive again soon. The 250 class is going to be wild for SX with all of the changes. Even Jo is still a wild card, for me at least, with his inconsistencies.

Not even close Deegan put his rear tire in on a block pass and looked over his other shoulder bc he thought davies was going to cut down and keep racing him. It was a clean block pass. Kitchen went across 3 ruts and slid his front tire out and took them both out. closer to Hampshire stealing the tile from Hammaker with a reckless challenge. I all for racing hard and banging bars, but that was reckless.
Deegan is a twat, but that was reckless and not the same.

It keeps the next race a lot more interesting. Just glad no one got hurt so they can all race next weekend.

Yup there’s a big difference between a block pass and intentionally t boning someone. Imagine if he broke Deegans leg in the process. At what point does it go from a racing incident to assault? It’s similar to the kids that sucker punch their opponents in a basketball or football game. Losers.

The problem is now Deegan is going to need to take Shimoda out if he wants to win the championship. Is this a legit sport where the best athlete wins or the gladiators?

I know If I was Deegan and it was moto 2 I would stay behind Shimoda and pull a "clean" move to get the title. Like on Davies. Im not winning the race and losing the title like Sexton. No point in racing it clean out front at this point when he got boned after clearly being faster round 2. Just a shame they cancelled moto 2 round one, Shimoda looked faster and moto 2 could have gone to him and all this would be moot

It’s a sucky situation for both of them. Shimoda did nothing wrong and is a classy guy but now has to be worried about getting taken out.

100% Shimoda seems like a class guy, and Deegan seems like the opposite. But Deegan didn't do anything wrong THIS time and has to be hot. We aren't even talking about this if his brake didn't snap bc he would have gotten back top 5 and the gap would be enough to just win out legit and win the title.
    Going to be interesting.

We all know this weekend is going to look just like the end of SX in Utah. As much as I would like the 250 guys to ride clean, I don't think they will. I guess take the inside line if you can, but that is hard to do on a 250 since you need the momentum in certain cases. The sport could clean up, but the highlights are just clips of the huge crashes because that gets more eyeballs outside of the sport.

The beginning of this vid is helpful. From this angle it's much easier to see how it happened. You can easily see it was just a block pass and Levi had everything in control until deegan didn't cede position and practically jumped off the bike and body checked him.

I have to disagree with ya. You don’t hop 2 ruts to make a block pass. Kitch hit him so hard Deegs brake lever broke on his boot lol. He was going for the kill, just unfortunately took himself out as well.
