It’s from the alibaba site. Not sure if it’s worth the trouble or not but it looks good from the picture.

Could be the type of deal where someone who has experience dealing with China puts together a group buy. :notsure:

I think I saw one today on a Cement Grey. I was wondering why it didn't have TRD on it, now I know. It looked lighter in color too.

When you blow the image up like that it looks like someone went to town with a healing brush in the area where TRD would be located. Not being skeptical, it's just nearing midnight, I'm tired, and I'm just saying when blown up that picture looks funky.

Yeah, now that you mention it, that whole area has some odd distortion.

It might still say TRD, but they don't want to advertise it that way, to avoid getting Toyota on their @$$.

Feel like this is a "low risk" option part to cut a cost on. Even in a worst case scenario regarding the quality of the skid, I feel like it should be equal to the the generic stamped/factory black metal the truck has by default. Unclear why it has other rivets/screws in it though. The biggest risk will be the fitment and whether or not it lines up properly.

I'm with you on that, I would just want to replace the stock black skid and make oil changes easier.

Oh don't get me wrong, not trying to bad mouth the product by any means. Just a late night observation, just saying actual product received might vary from picture slightly. I'm interested in this myself, the stock black skid is fugly.

I'm down for a group buy. $30 is way better than $400, ha.
