Alright. I perched the readylift 2wd 5 lug Tacoma lift. I have followed the instructions on paper and the instructional video of the install. I have installed the shock spacer and was about to reassemble everything, But now when I try to place the upper control arm into the mounting point the shock makes contact. Anybody else have this problem and what do I do about. I’m a little frustrated because it’s supposed to be a bolt on kit. Any help would be great.

Did you turn it 180 degrees? I believe they leave that out in the instructions. But pictures are needed to see what you are dealing with.

I had the same issue. I ended up rotating it into a different position. It cleared, but barely at full droop. With weight on it, it was fine.

I just installed a lift on my 5-lugger on Saturday and ran into the same issue. Hoping to get it straightened out tonight. I called the manufacturer of the lift kit and they said that the weight of the truck and an alignment will cause the upper and the strut to separate enough.

    Was the lift a success?
