hey guys! I've read this forum for quite a while now and its helped me quite a bit.
I cant find a thread for this though. I had bought a new grille and colour matched the thinner front frame to my truck (my old one was chrome and im not a huge fan). now im trying to attach it to the main black part that bolts to the truck but none of the tabs stay in place. my old one looks like they were melted or sealed on the inside of the grille. anyone know what to do?

    Build thread coming soon!
The factory does melt them. You could do the same with a small propane torch, using it to heat a larger flat bladed screwdriver and pressing the tabs one at a time. Option 2: soldering iron to melt tabs. Option 3: obtain some two part epoxy and slather it over the tongues so they glue to the slots.
Hope you figure out something that works!:)
