Yeah I see how your spacer centers the coil, but the ones I got werent even, one side was smaller in depth and sat flush with the right side of the coil and the other stuck out as you see in the picture if that makes sense, but I'll check my spindle nut, that's a good point thanks!

Glad I don't have a 13" spring now that I see the pictures of yours. That's a lot of preload just to achieve the same lift I got.

I think he is right OP. Like I stated previously, check ALL fastening nuts after you have tightened down all your work. It avoids having to tear back into your work a second time to chase down gremlins.

My concers is how much preload you have....I have maybe half of the thread you're using and have a full 3" of lift. The lower mount moving where it's attached to the LCA is somewhat normal. My Icons do the same thing. Is there any play in the lower mount? Can you get a picture of the top 3 bolts?

The spacers weren't even, the depth on the spacer facing the cab was shorter so it sat flush with the coil, the other one sticks out like in the pic, but I'll check my spindle bolt that's a good idea thanks!

I'm still a little concerned over the fact that you could physically take your spring and spin it while the coil over assembly is installed AND preloaded. You should not even be able to be close to doing that at this point.

The lower mount can move barely at all, but yeah I don't understand why I have to preload so much to get the lift, I just measured he 2 spacers I had on my stock coil and it came out to 2 1/2 inches together so I got close to that much lift, and with all that preload on the camburgs Im still not at that

So you got longer springs for your camburgs? But the only thing not moving when I twist it, is the top mount and the bottom, it's moving on the round bearing in the bottom mount and top mount

I think OP is referring to the whole assembly it's self as being able to move

The issue with preload and how much preloading you have to put on your top spring mount is an issue of spring height. If you were using spacers on your previous lift using stock springs or equal to height, the previous spring size you were running was 14" (that is the size of stock TRD springs) by going down to 13" springs you have essentially "downgraded" in terms of size and have put your coilovers into a situation where you will need to add more preload then that of even a spacer lift using stock springs in order to achieve the same height.

It's common for the whole assembly to be able to move while installed.....the spring it's self is not normal. My icons move while installed.

His UCAs being at such an angle may be hitting the coils

There's no sign of the UCAs hitting the coils though

Yes 14" spring is what you need

So taking them out and putting my stocks in is a better idea?

I got 14" Eibach springs when I built my coilovers in order to retain stock sized springs and to achieve more height for less preload. Coil bind is not a factor for me even lifted. 11 coils that I count x .5" worth of distance per coil equals 5.5" of usable travel on amy setup. Perfect setup to achieve the most for a max MT setup on Sway Away's and Camburg's (rebranded Sway Away's).

If he is able to twist the assembly, that is fine because the coilovers themselves do away with bushings and mount/ ride on spherical bearings.

Mine do as well. Perfectly normal.

    That's an idea too!

    This.

You cannot nor should not use stock 14" springs on coil over assemblies!!

Get some Eibach ERS silver springs. 14" 650# 2.5 ID (if these are 2.0 coilovers) or 3.0 ID (for 2.5 coilovers). I run 650# 2.5 ID's for my 2.0's and I have NEVER had one problem with them.
