My 2015 Tacoma TRD Offroad with app.123K miles recently threw a P0418 code. Wasted good money on one part that did not fix the problem then stumbled on the Hewitt Tech Gen II SAIS bypass kit on this site.
I was able to install the block-off plate at the #1 exhaust valve/pipe flange junction however when trying to remove the bolts on the #2 exhaust valve/pipe flange junction I broke the head off of the top bolt. I really don't think that I'm going to get the bottom one out with out braking it either.
How can I secure the #2 pipe flange to the #2 exhaust valve so that the plate stays in place? I had mentioned my concern about possibly breaking those bolts off the the guy I spoke with at Hewitt prior to purchasing the kit. He mentioned something about a special clamp but I don't recall the name of it and nobody will be in at Hewitt until Monday.
If anybody an offer some advise here it would be greatly appreciated.

Just did the same thing. They won’t answer the phone. Both my head bolts broke off and I need help NOW.

So I was able to get one flange in correctly and one that I’m going to attempt to use a beam clamp which is what you’re referring to. According to them our options are beam clamp or crimp the exhaust line.

OK, thanks. I didn't think that they were around on weekends (I got the answering machine when I called on Saturday). Didn't bother with an email (oh ye of little faith). Looks like I'm off to Home Depot or Tractor Supply this morning.
