I bought the Apex extended travel from Allpro. King coil overs with Allpro UCA's. My problem is the ball joint from UCA is WAY of from the spindle. Even if I lower the UCA all the way down the ball joint bolt does not reach thru the spindle
Is there supposed to be a longer bolt for the extended travel? It appears to be missing by the same amount of the extension on the coil over

Put a floor jack under the lower control arm and raise it up until you can bolt it together

Yup, pull the upper control arm down as low as it will go and pop a jack under your lower control arm to lift it until they mate.

I actually tried the floor jack. The lower control arm is all the way up were it is starting to lift the truck. The UCA is all the way down and still way off.

what model are the kings? ive had kings, icons and bilstein .. never had to use the floor jack to put the spindle on the uca. I think you have 2.5x8s .. which are for LT

I used a little bottle jack to lift my lower arm but it was only because it was easier than trying to juggle it and the ball joint castle nut. I assume the OP confused extended travel with long travel?

I doubt those are 2.5x8. Use a floor jack and keep going

Even if it lifts the truck it will still compress

    Stock. For now.
Loosen the upper control arm bolt a bit more and Try to Puch it lower. You could be binding and limiting your range.

I've taken my ext. travel kings out a few times and each time I put them back in I never need a jack under the LCA, I just get the bolt started and use a rubber mallet to gently tap the spindle until they mate. However, once I did have an issue and it's a little wordy to describe. The bottom sleeve that goes into the bottom of the uniball (I have TC uppers) was not sitting flush and so it was pinched basically against the lip of the uniball. Possibly the issue?
