Your upper control arm is NOT down all the way, if it was down all the way the uniball cup would be smacking into the spring. Losen you UCA bolt a bit and just pull the UCA down.

You might not be able to see from that pic but the UCA was down far enough to hit the spring. With the LCA jacked up there was still too far of a gap to connect the spindle.
I measured the shock it is 24" from end to end.

The UCA is very loose. The first pic I posted showing my hand is to show about where it should be. The second set of pics without my hand shows the loose UCA in down position and the LCA jacked up where it actualy started lifting that side of truck.

Is the sleeve on the UCA bolt able to clear the hole on the spindle. Can you tell where it's binding. This stuff fits shitty until you get an alignment. If you were in Vegas I would come and help lol

I think this is my problem. Looks like there is a 2" spacer in the bottom shock

You should be able to download a diagram of the shock. And that would tell you.

I will look into that but as of now they are back in the box. There is no reason to leave them on the truck since they won't fit. I will call King in the morning
If the turn around is more then 2 weeks, I may be posting these for sale and get the correct size ordered

If they are off the truck let's see them lined up next to the stock ones

Something is to tight. Or not aligned properly. Those being that close in size. I doubt it's a spacer. Put the thing in don't tighten any bolts and see if it aligns bettee

You may need to unbolt the two bolts that attach the LCA to the spindle. lift the spindle up to seat the upper arm bolt and torque it. then let it use the weight of the hub/spindle/rotor to droop enough and meet in the middle with a jack under the LCA to put the two bolts back into the spindle. Also loosen the LCA bolts at the alignment cams, may be stopping it from going up taller. Youll need an alignment regardless.

Your sway bar link can get in the way too. Watch for that

Id say remove you're sway bar link , you're steering linkage , and spindal from the UCA. Once new shock in just thread on the top 3 bolts and then try to align the bottom mount on the LCA. Then I'd use a jack to apply pressure to get the UCA bolted to the spindal again

Okay. Looks like I owe a round of beers!
I believe I started out doing everything correct but when I saw the truck lifting from jacking I stopped and thought there was a problem. I took everyone's advice and I am greatfull
