OK, so I've been keeping up with the leaf spring TSB for awhile, around since I got my truck back in December of 2008, so I was relieved to hear that they added the 09's to the TSB. I have an 09 DC SR5 TRD sport and went to get the TSB done today. WHen I first went to ask about getting it done; I made sure I said I just wanted the leaf springs and that my truck didn't need the new shocks. Walking out of the dealership and seeing my truck I noticed that my shocks are now black; and not the yellow and blue bilsteins i used to have (they got the leaf springs right though). My question is this : AM I WRONG about the shocks and misunderstood that the TSB said not to replace the shocks on TRD trucks?also; has anyone else here ever had this problem(and what did they do to solve it), i did a search but couldn't get any hits.frustrating, knowing that i told them AND that they couldn't read the TSB themselves.

The dealer goofed, go back and ask that the proper TRD Bilstein shocks be put back on.

If you have the TRD sport, then no new shocks are needed. You should have yellow shocks. Looks like they replaced yours.

I've got the '10 SR5 4x4, they replaced my Springs and all 4 shocks. My truck needed it so no complaints.
