Problem with the outside light above the sliding rear window

I own a 2020 Tacoma trd sport. I’ve noticed lately when I open the drivers door the light on the outside of the truck above the rear sliding window stays on for around 10 minutes. It used to go off after a minute or so. Had anyone else run into this.

There is a switch near your left knee. Did you change it to the on position by accident?

 

Do you have the bed lighting switch (looks like a squid launcher) turned on?

Sorry I took so long to reply. When I read your response I went out to the truck to look. You are exactly right. There is a switch that says door, on and off. I must have hit it by mistake when I was cleaning the interior. Really appreciate the quick response. It was driving me crazy!

Happy you got it figuered out. I came to let you know it's called the 3rd Brake light. That way you don't have to go through that long ass description on the title of the thread. It's similar to talikng about your sister and calling her the lady married to my brother in law.
