my truck does this thing when stopping, feels like the drive line is moving back and forth or the rear end is loading and unloading. I replaced the carrier bearing but it still does the same thing. I'm thinking maybe the trans mount is next although it seems ok. 2004 access cab 100200mi. auto trans. any thoughts ?

Is it side-to-side movement, or back and forth?

Edit: You said "back and forth", but which plane?

Probably axle wrap. Very common in our trucks.
Lots of threads about this, do a search.
