Camper prevents me from tilting the can high enough to get all the gas out. What is worse it also makes it very awkward to operate the CARB compliant spout so I end up spilling gas all over. It is the metal can from Midwest Can.

Is there an easy pour spout that will fit CARB compliant cans, or an adaptor?

Or maybe a very large and very long funnel which I can't find so far?

Already invested a lot of time doing a custom mount on the back of the camper and really do not want to go with a different gas can.

There are adaptors, but I dont know of any for that style with the screw on spigot if its the 5 gal metal ones. The good news is something like the NATO or Wavian cans of the generally same design do, and they may be close enough that your mounts will fit them.

Get a racing gas can with a long filler hose, no govt BS valves or anything.

Another vote for the jiggle siphons, they work really well.

Does the jerry can need to be higher than the truck fuel tank for the siphon to work?

Pretty much yes. I'd bungie or tie it to the camper. The first time I used mine I held the can, didn't take too long. The second time I parked next to a picnic bench.

the siphon seems like my best bet. It is compact and easy to store in the space between camper wall and truck bed so no gas fumes get inside. I have a camp table and step stool to elevate the gas can if necessary.
