I set some radio stations. That's about it so far.
I purchased and installed a Gentex Homelink mirror. Installation went great (thanks Bob's Mirrors for an excellent kit).

I'm having trouble programming the Homelink. The problem is that when I program the Tacoma the Homelink in my wife's car stops working. I can reprogram her Homelink and it works fine, but then the Tacoma Homelink stops working.... and vice versa, for about an hour and a half today. One works and then the other doesn't.

The opener is a Genie Excellerator. The manual says I can have 5 different remotes and couple of keypads programmed at once. I'm okay there, with 2 remotes, 2 Homelinks and 1 keypad.

I have contacted Bob and he replied with a couple of suggestions, but I thought I would tap into the hive mind here. I figure I'm not the only one that has encountered this issue. The internet searches I've done haven't given me any solutions that work.

    What am I missing?

I figured it out! I have a Genie garage door opener that only allows up to 5 remotes and 2 keypads. Apparently some old devices in there from previous vehicles. I reset the opener so it had a blank slate and reprogrammed all the existing remotes, keypads, and Homelink. All of them work. Job done.
