TRD Supercharger, Toytec 3" Ultimate Lift w/ 285/75/16s and planning on OBA for sometime in the future. Also thinking about the HWMS and a Warn 8000 for it.
9 months, no issues. I used to gripe about the power. BT unsyncs every once in a while. Mileage is worse than I thought it would be. I put a supercharger in and that fixed the gripes I have with the power, but not the mileage. :)

Oh... My parking brake has a nut that keeps coming loose and falling off. I should loktite it or something.

I stuck with Toyota cause my last truck ('03 tundra) lasted 8 years and 130k miles with zero mechanical issues. (had the timing belt replaced, while the front end was apart, they chaged the gaskets for for the camsomething or another, replaced the water or oil pump)

Got about 11k miles on this one.

From the looks of it, I think it's only us silver streaks that have problems with the BT haha

    5K and no problems.

Even with the minor issues that get blown out of proportion on the internet you need to understand that some problems exist on anything much less complex than an automobile or truck in this case.

Imagine how many thousands of pieces and parts that are incorporated into this truck. Many of these parts are not specifically manufactured by Toyota, but 1st, 2nd and 3rd tier suppliers. Granted Toyota is ultimately responsible for their end product. It is a daunting task to say the least. Anytime you have people involved there will be mistakes and problems. I have worked in manufacturing for greater than 17 years (Bosch North America LLC). Even with 100% inspections after and during assembly something will slip by.

I had that happen a week ago. Took it in and they fixed it. Not a problem with the phone, the radio messes up from time to time according to the tech.

Oh trust me I understand fully. This is a machine and was built by normal people/robots. Problems and faulty parts are bound to happen. I was just checking in to see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue (maybe a recall will follow) and to get a general idea of things to keep an eye out on. Like the dash chipping.
The only thing that makes me a bit ticked off is the fact that this is a safety issue. Rather them keep the truck and give us another car until the part comes in, they send my wife on her way down the street with a faulty airbag sensor. I'm not sure what this sensor is capable of or if it will even work the way it is supposed to and when it's supposed to. Not to mention this is the vehicle that carries the wife and kid around... OK venting completed...

Not to thread jack but is anyone with a 2012 with a OR having a front end noise.I bought my truck Thursday and didn't hear anything until i got home with about 150 miles on it.My driveway is kind of messed up and makes the truck flex when I pull in.There is a popping noise from the driver side , or at least it sounds that way.The truck had 2 miles on it when I bought it.Today I dropped the truck off at the dealership and they looked over the front end and found nothing. They drove a identical truck to mine with 55 miles on it and it makes the same noise ,just curious if anyone else is having an issue with this.As far as I know they are opening a case with Toyota to see whats going on .

I dunno about a popping, but I just spent a couple weeks off-roading in South Dakota. I had to find a noise and it turned out to be the hood. The rubber feet weren't making good contact and with the added dust were making noise.

But other than that, I'm at 15K and no trouble at all. I love this truck.

Yes ...I've tried doing some searching on here and nothing .I've heard some of the older taco's have bumper extension problems and a couple people had sway bar problems, but the tech was under the front and checked everything .

Dang Hulk!!! :D That's an expensive adjustment; good luck with the fix.

1200 miles one month of ownership and I have the usual vibes that most are having. Lifting it tomorrow with OME so not too worried about it.

Just under 10k miles. Only issue is the seal on my windshield is coming loose. No leaking inside even under heavy rain but going to have it looked at later this eek when I take it in for the next oil change.

Weird man...I'd check all the ball joints on the front end. Try finding the noise and recreate so that you can pin point it at the house/ dealership.
I had some front end noise coming from my F-150 when I hit bumps. I drove it up on a curb to recreate the noise and sure enough we were able to find the problem. Ball joint thing on the sway bar..
    Keep us posted on it.

I have an iPhone4s, connects to Bluetooth phone & audio every single time, never drops or disconnects. I've only paired it once in 9 months, 15k miles.

However, I have a nasty whistle at the top of my windshield when driving well over the speed limit (the slowest I've heard the noise is @ 85mph).
