I have a Huge problem..i jus received the New AlphaRex Pro Series headlights from TacomaBeast.
It was pretty simple to install..looks awesome..wiring seemed really straight forward..sucked that there was no instructions at all..
But here's the problem.. with everything wired up..
My DRL barely lights up..some places are brighter ..when I try to use my turn signals on either side..BOTH sides hyper flash..and aren't changing to the amber color..just straight white .. it also makes my RPM cluster lights get brighter and dimmer with each blink! the next problem is when I turn on the side markers for evening driving . .NOTHING works at all...the DRL that surround the headlight turns off completely. when I finally turn on the headlights..only the headlights work..
I don't know what the heck is going on..i feel like it's wired wrong internally..did anybody else purchase these lights for thier 2015 Tacoma and have problems too???20210529_193653.jpg

I will have to take some vids of everything tomorrow..not sure how big of a file I can put on this thread...
I will show everything from wiring and what's actually happening when I try to use the lights and turn signals..
Wiring is pretty much straight forward as you can get..the only thing I wasn't sure about was the small fuse which needed to be piggybacked into the fusebox..i uses the 15amp IGN..port..other than that..red wire straight to battery positive ...black wire straight to battery negative poles..

I got that same issue. I just installed them today. I tried to call alpha Rex but they were closed since it’s Saturday. It sucks that there were no instructions. So frustrating. And the alpha Rex website is no help at all.

This is what I get. They go off once I turn in my headlights on.

what I'm worried about is if I have to Return them . .it's gonna be a B*tch to take them off carefully pull them out without scratching the lens! and then I have to pull out the wire I struggled to get thru the firewall and then ship them off Fedex...then wait AGAIN..till they get the next shipment ready...which means I have to put back the original headlights...such a pain..

Aren't these plug n play sans the one wire for the fuse block? Sounds like a wiring issues from alpha. Also, if you remove the front bumper cover and bracket that will help prevent an unnecessary scratches on the lights.

Yes I agree I think it’s a wiring problem inside the headlight.

I had the same issue but had it resolved after contacting them. They sent me a video to repin an adaptor. My lights worked perfectly after the repin

it took me about 30 mins to repin..wasnt too hard..jus put the black pin in the middle the yellow wire pin where the black was on BOTH headlights and the lights are CHERRY! looks great..esp for being China made..works well too..thankyou my Braddahs for the info and support...STILL really sucks for how much you pay and the harness is pinned wrong..AlphaRex better get their Sh*t straightened out. Gnite and Aloha

AlphaRex doesn't have anything to get straightened out at all, they don't make the lights. The lights are are made by a low quality cheap China manufacture VLAND. AlphaRex just relabels them and charges a huge markup to American buyers that don't know better. You can buy the products for a fraction of the price direct off China Alibaba and get the exact same thing. AlphaRex is just a middle man.

I see you got the Lux Series like I did. So did you have to repin your plug also? Or is this only on the Pro Series? I'm installing my new Lux Series tomorrow. I just need to know if I'll have to repin as well. Thanks in advance for any help
