If anyone has a problem with an ARB product they should contact arb tech line directly and get it on record with serial numbers before the warranty ends.

I spent my time taking my truck back to ECGS multiple times because my rear locker has been pulling oil out the air line. they were never able to resolve the issue and now I'm on my own with it.. I contacted ARB directly after I was just tired of dealing with the oil mess and here is their final response.

ARB tech was extremely helpful in attempting to troubleshoot the issue(no smoking gun found) and suggested I replace the Flange Cap ($250). I'm gonna put in new orings, bonded seal, and clean out all the air ways. Install it and keep riding.

I still like the products that I bought, it just sucks that the installer never put in a warranty request so there was never a record of this on ARB side..

Thats a bummer...Ive had great experiences with arb. Ex: My air compressor relay went bad and I lost one of the air filter discs, out of warranty and they still sent me a new one on their dime...didnt even charge me shipping. I also have an arb locker and it sprays a mist of oil out of the air release port when I unlock it. Sounds similar to you. I was never sure why it was doing that, and creates a mess which really sucks... would love to fix it if I knew how/why its happening

If mine was just a mist when disengaged that'd be fine. Mine actively drips like it's created a siphon on the air line even when the locker is not used for several weeks. ECGS and I have checked all the usual suspects multiple times and haven't found an issue. ARB worked with me extensively to try to identify an issue, I have no complaints against their Customer Service and Tech support.

More of a word of warning to get any issues documented with ARB to make sure you get further service if needed.

Ordered new parts to fix my locker from East Coast Gear Supply and..... I'm not happy... I'm starting to see a common denominator..

I'm not dicking around with ECGS(who would probably send me another part) and just sent ARB Tech an email. They can either send me a new part or have me get one from ECGS, either way it will be documented and I will have it on file if other issues come up.

Your title, "Problems with ARB products," is a bit misleading. Sounds more like a problem with ECGS.

I believe perhaps it would have been better for his title to say "If you have a problem".

The main thing is to contact ARB and don't screw around with the supplier.

ECGS didn't make the products, not everyone that goes to ECGS has these problems, others that have ARB products do have these troubles with their supplier/installer.
