I have been troubleshooting problems with the front end of my 1999 tacoma. I feel a vibration whenever I am driving and the suspension is unloaded. So pretty much when I crest a hill doing 45 plus. It's not ball joints, it's doesn't feel like a steering issue, so I've concluded it's the Lift I added. I believe it is putting the cv axles in a bind due to the angle. I don't know whether I bite the bullet and lower the front to 1.25" or whether there is a diff drop kit or knuckles to resituate the cvs. If you have any advice let me know....

I would advise you take it to an alignment shop and get the specs. What did you do to confirm it is not the ball joints or a steering issue? did you jack up the truck and shake everything down?

What coils, and and what setting are you running them on the 5100's? You are not the first one to run 5100's, the possible solutions have been covered many, many, many times. :deadhorse:

I hoisted the truck up on a lift and ran it to check for the vibration location first off (front axle vs rear axle). Felt like a little wiggle in rear so I check u joints and I need to replace them but then I removed the rear driveline and ran it to 45 mph there, and felt the main source of the vibration I've been dealing with. I shook it down with the help of a buddy who runs a shop in my hometown and he said wheelbearings, balljoints, and everything was decent but what got him was when we compressed the front a arm the vibration stopped. So we were concerned with the cv axle angle and possible the bearing inside the diff being bad possibly. It's on stock coils, they are set at 2.5, I just replaced the rack bushing and the vibration occurs while the steering is not in use (off the ground) so we're fairly positive it's a cv angle/diff bearing issue. Knuckles to relocate the cv to a Less extreme angle don't seem to exist for a 2.5 in lift... kinda don't know what to do to fix it without going back to stock height
