    Bilstien 5100's @ 2.5 up front, 2" add-a-leaf.
So after only 10,000 or so miles I happened to notice a small puddle by my back tire, look under the truck and find that I've managed to blow out the passenger rear Bilstien 5100. What surprises my is that when I rotated the tires less than a week ago all was well with the shock, and the only thing that could have popped it was driving over a curb. So at this point I've searched all over here and can't find any direct answer. With that being said, are there any suggestions for replacements? The rear of my truck has a 2" AAL. Pulled the shock off and it's toast. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That shock should be under warranty. I would call the place you bought it from or Bilstein directly for replacement info.

Plan to call the Place that sent it out on Monday when they reopen. Most likely even of they replace it I'm still going to have to buy another one in the mean time. Also just weighing the options that are out there. No one around me seems to have the bilstiens and have had a few places say they can't get them. So open to suggestions as to brands.

check the part number for the shock, you may have bought the stock length 5100 rather than the extended 5100 made for lifts.
