I just got a new 2024 Tacoma and am using a few of the newer bluetooth features. I'm experiencing a few issues - I've gone back to the dealer, who reset my connections and got me going again - but then a day or two later the same issues return. Has anyone had experience with:
    • The digital key bluetooth connection disappears. It says it cannot pair due to an incorrect key - you enter the key again and all is good...then a couple of days later, it says the key is bad again. You look at the bluetooth device list and the key is not there
    • The phone connection loses the Android Auto setting: I set the connection to use Android auto...all works for a couple of days - and then suddenly AA is not available...go to the connection setting and the AA switch is off. Throw it back on and all is good for a while again
Anyone else experience this kind of thing? If so...any remedies?

NOTE: I'm on a Google Pixel 9XL running the latest Android releases

    Thanks,
    - Gary

I had the same issues with the digital key to the point that I no longer trusted it. “Key not recognized” kept appearing, almost left me stranded two hours from home… I now only use the key card or the regular FOB

I had the same problem. Deleting the Toyota app from my phone got rid of all of it. I'm done with that crap for now. I just use the keycard in my wallet. I deleted my phone's bluetooth connection from the head unit and basically started over. Established my phone in the head unit's bluetooth list and since then (three days ago) all has worked smoothly. I don't need three different ways to get into and start the truck, nor do I need remote start/lock/unlock.

using an iPhone 15 pro on a '25 TRDOR and the digital key has been rock solid reliable for me. I had a few instances where it took a second to unlock the doors or start the truck, so I increased the sensitivity of the digital key to high within the app, and its been great ever since.
