I removed the air intake manifold in order to get better access to the power steering pump. I put it back in but ever since then, idling the truck has been terrible. It sputters, revs are low, and shakes the cab. truck runs perfectly when driving. I changed the air filter (very dirty) and it worked for a little bit but went right back to sputtering while idling.
It's so weird because before, the truck was running perfectly but after playing with the manifold, it sounds terrible. Is there something that needs to be reset because I feel its just an intake issue.

Leaks in the hose sucking in un metered air? Did you crack the hose check the bottom .

You mean the Air intake from the air filter to the Throttle body?

Yea, air Intake from the filter to the throttle body. I was wondering if that was problem but never fully looked into it. Is soapy water a good way of checking?

As your sucking air into the engine soapy water is not a really good idea.

I just look for visible signs .

Some people use a unlit propane torch but be very careful.
