Problems with Moog ball joints

    I ended up having to take it to a shop and they struggled even with a hydraulic press.
    I have 4 of the same Moog ball joints and every one is different in some way. One had the old boot design, one had the zerk threads already tapped, the other two didn't and one of the zerks only had 2 threads on it. If Moog is this bad about quality control and cuts so many coenersby not even threading zerk holes i wonder what other corners they are cutting.

    I put inner and outer tie rods in and tried ProForged and simply looking at it alongside Moog it certainly looks to be far superior. I haven't had them in long but I'll choose them over Moog anyday. Shockingly, even the zerks were properly threaded!

    GLAD I found this. Nope you CANNOT get the Moog joint out at all. I pressed them in there but the base where the cup sits to press it out can't sit on the LCA, the Moog joint is too fat. I tried a kit from 2 parts stores and bought the kit at HF. No luck.
