Go back to the dealership and get the Service Director and take them for a ride to show them what your issues are - let them drive it - they will fix it. Warranty - that is why you have it. And as others have said - drive another one and see how they compare - take the Service Manager with you and make them drive too so they can't give you the "duh" response.

I also bought mine without test driving. Truck was on it's way from the assembly line with a deal I couldn't pass up for a brand new truck. Test drove another truck they had on the lot and signed that day. Waited a week, picked up my truck and off we go. 16k miles later no issues.

lets help you diagnose. Is the vibration audible?
Can you feel it in the steering wheel?
Can you feel it in the seat?
What speeds can you feel it at?
Does it change when you are going around turns?
    What’s your favorite color?

I've always test drove my new vehicle purchases, but never extensive drives ... one just assume it's new (works and drives well). Like let's say the locker didn't work, who would check that on a test drive? "Hey, mind if I go by a local off-road park for a real test drive?!"

If I had extensively test driven my 2019 Tacoma, I would have noted that my 2018 4Runner's transmission is better! ;)

Don't get too discouraged, there are actually helpful people on this forum. You just have to sort through all of the turds that never provide anything useful and only post comments Like "wHy DiDnT yUo TesT drIvE, tHat wOulD haVe SolVed eVeRyThinG!!" :duh:

Anyway, I had some issues with my truck I thought were abnormal; took it in to the dealer and after some back and forth they let me drive an identical truck for a side by side comparison and it turns out a lot of the stuff was just "normal" Tacoma quirks.

I bought mine sight unseen and not test driven, in fact it’s a pre-order for a Pro and have to wait 3 months for it. I would suggest for those vibrations or maybe just that one annoying phantom vibration that drives you nuts, it could be a dozen different stabs in the dark and lots of your time taking it back and forth to a
Dealership that can’t duplicate anything AND to spare you having to hear from them that “you just have to live with it”...
Take it to a driveline specialist that will put the truck on rollers and hook up their sensors and computers and tell you within a couple of hours what exactly is vibrating, make their recommendations in writing and you can take that report in to the dealership and get them to fix it.

Sorry to give you a hard time OP. 3rd Gen forum is a shit-show much of the time so there is some mud-slinging when we see new members post issues out of the gate. Nothing personal and we do hope you like your truck after you're all broke in.

I recall reading posts from members around here having vibration issues from under torqued rear axle U bolts. Just a thought..

I know this truck is new. But a simple diagnostic would be to rotate the tires and see if anything changes. Sometimes a bad tire is a bad tire, even though it balances zero on the tire balancer.

Good luck OP. The dealer is already on your side being nice about the situation. Just keep your cool!

I do appreciate all the responses. You all convinced me to bring it back again. Love my Tacos but think I might have gotten the one built on Friday at 3pm. Was really hopping not to, between work the holiday and this corona nonsense it's tough. Thanks everyone, and to the Ford guys "Bite Me"

Wow. Try ordering a Porsche from the factory.

Did that a few times and got the Tee shirts.

Test drive? Yes on a vehicle that was on the lot. Test drive when shipped...most certainly...for like 20 miles or so.

You can loan me funds if you like ;)

You said it I did not...my original thing stands.

Folks purchase vehicles based on a Test Drive....ok sure. At purchase, drive it and see if it works. How many times has anyone taken a vehicle on more that a 10-20 min drive? Probably less than 10% of folks.

So I would not disparage folks for purchasing a vehicle (especially if they ordered a TRD PRO not on the lot) based on a test drive in something that was on the lot.

Any test-drive is better than nothing right? Especially to check easy things like drive-line vibration, seat comfort, viewing angles, engine noises, etc. Doesn't seem like a popular notion though so I'll let it go if you do.

Same here. BUT I rented a 3rd gen from Budget rentals in Tucson on vacation so I knew I would like it. I think it was the most capable off-roader I’ve ever driven if you know what I mean. Also, I wanted to get in and out of the dealership in 20 mins. (And I did!)

I didn't test drive my Tacoma. Walked in when it arrived, took care of paperwork, got the key fob and drove away.

I had test drove a Tacoma at the dealership in my town after much looking at all the mid size trucks. The thing was my local dealer was just not going to give me a decent deal. I let it go till summer. I decided it was time to try working with out of town dealerships

I put my deposit on mine site unseen. They weren't able to get the 1st one and kept looking for a truck for me. When mine finally came in I went to pick it up I didn't even know what interior color it was but didn't care it was Cement and everything else I asked for.
The dealership actually insisted I test drove it even though I knew I was going to be happy with the truck. The reason was in case of any issue like the OP is facing.

For sure take the truck back make them drive it with you make them fix it or make them find you another truck or refund you if they can't fix it. Sometimes even with the best of products one comes out less then perfect

So update for anyone interested. Brought the truck in today, test drove with the mechanic who felt what I was feeling. The mechanic showed me the exact same symptoms outlined in the 2016-2019 tacomas. However because there were no visible signs of anything wrong they could not do anything about it. So pissed, looks like I'll be annoying some higher ups.
