Hope they get it fixed might be tires out of balance or if truck sat for a extended period of time perhaps has a mild flat spot on the tread.:notsure:

I’m trying to understand what you mean by “ The mechanic showed me the exact same symptoms outlined in the 2016-2019 Tacomas.”

How exactly did he do that and what do mean by it? Are you saying they are claiming that all ‘16’s - ‘19’s do that? Can’t speak for anyone else, but I can certainly tell you that my ‘19 OR has no such issues.

Edited to add that the more time I spend on this site the more I come to believe I am the world’s luckiest SOB when it comes to the most trouble free taco ever...

Tires have been checked and rechecked. I actually told the mechanic during the test drive that it felt like it got worse when I hit a bump. 2016-2019 fix was kind of extensive and one of the things they replaced were the front springs.

Again, specifically what fix are you talking about? I haven’t had anything done to my ‘19 other than the fuel pump recall.

The mechanic pulled up the problem of th16-19 on the computer. I searched and found it online, Vibration felt in the seats and steering. Due to the fact that the 2021 is so new and not outlined in the issue they won't replace the affected parts.

Bang on. 21 Pro MT $52,360 CAD MSRP. Tax and fees all in (IN BC - 12% total sales tax) $60,844 CAD or so, or $40,844USD/47,462 USD tax in at todays exchange.

When you convert, depending on where the dollar is, the trucks are actually a bit cheaper up here in USD. That may explain why fewer features on same truck in Canada (ie no OEM LED headlights on OR or Sport packages in Canada, I think)

I never test drove my 2020. My 2016 TRD Sport 6MT was written off so I bought a brand new 2020 TRD SPort 6MT. Salesman was shocked when I declined the test drive lol. However I did not really think of a situation such as this. Mine worked out fine though thankfully.

Well after several weeks and lots of phone calls to Toyota Corp., the truck is back at the dealer. Toyota updated the service bulletin for the 2016-2019 tacoma to include the 20-21. There going to replace leaf springs in an attempt to correct the drive shaft angle, and a few other parts. Will it be fixed? Guess I'll find out soon.
