ProClip Phone Holder for 2016 Tacoma

Does anyone have any experience with this product? I have a 2016 but wouldn't mind hearing about it from anyone with an earlier model. Seems like a smart idea.
When you go to the site, they actually list a lot of vehicles by year and have mount bases for each.
Not sure I would get one of the holders, but the mount looks good. In the instruction video it shows from other side and it really isn't blocking the air vent since it is out from it a bit and angled toward the driver.

I have used before in other trucks but the new taco version is FUGLY

Does that just use adhesive tape to mount?

 

Here is what I ended up with. Solid and easy to look over and see phone. Nothing is blocked and out of the passengers way. Not for everyone though. I have tried magnets, stick on, suction cups etc., in the past and none really sold me like this.

 

Yup comes with two different plates for your phone or tablet love this mount perfect spot imo.

 

This looks great ! Do you have to order certain model for different phones ? I see that one says iphone

 

Nope one size fits all easy to take on off because it's magnetic on the phone/holder side and sticky tape to fasten the holder to the dash mount

 

I use this and put it on the steering column. turn my phone on its side, and It is perfect location for when using GPS, just a quick glance down at speedo and bam I can see directions. Ill take a pic and post soon
