procomp 3 inch lift question

Spindles will provide 4" up front with bilsteins set @ 0.

 

Nice... with the maxtrac 2.5 lift will it settle lower? My buddy is saying that the 6.5 will settle to 4ish

 

The 2.5 lift they sell is nothing more than a a spacer lift. No this won't settle but the 2.5 isn't a spindle lift.

The 6.5 is just the 4" spindle lift combined with the 2.5 spacer lift above. There are other ways to achieve a 6" and get a better ride as well. Just set the 5100's to 1.75 or add a set of ome 884's to the 5100's set at 0 or just add aftermarket coilovers. But no the 6.5 lift isn't going to settle to 4".

Thanks for all the info... I think I'm going to go with the 4inch... I just ordered a set of stelth custom series 6 wheels wheels. I was gonna go with a 285 70 17... but if I go 4 inch do u think I can go wider?

 

Not a problem. I would stay with that size and make sure the wheels you ordered don't have more than 4.75 bs since you will be installing spindles.

 

It says the bs is 4.30... do u think I'll be good to run a 325 70 17? I'm thinking about going 6.5 in on 35s now... wheels are 17x8.5 et-10

 

Wheel bs is fine. What brand tire in that size are you wanting to run?

 

Falken wildpeak in the 325, but now I'm thinking about running a 315 to widen my options... maybe BFG all terrain TA, Goodyear or generals not sure yet... what do u recommend?

 

Me personally I would stick with a toyo at II in 285/75r17 which is a 34" tire.
