drove it on the freeway to go to work and it started feeling a little choppy past 55 mph (on the speedo - probably > 62 mph). nothing too scary though, I expected worse.

Called 4wheelparts and the specialist confirmed what you guys've been saying that 50PSI is way too high. I'm getting a tire gauge in the morning to drop pressure down to 36 PSI.

Now another question for you: at some point on the freeway +55mph I started hearing some noise coming out of the front right wheel area, felt like something was quickly vibrating thus producing some noise. I thought maybe it's trimmed fenders (below the bumper) that was resonating because of the air speed. I don't know. Anyone ever experienced something like that?

This def sounds like a tire pressure issue. When I ordered my XD wheels, they arrived with the Terra Grappler tires already mounted up and everything. I bolted them on, and then went for a quick trip to settle the lug nuts so I could torque them down one more time, but I forgot to check the pressures first. I had some semi-serious vibrations and was worried the wheels hadn't been balanced right or something. However, when I got back I checked the tire pressures and one was only 18, and the other 3 were like 49 psi!! I adjusted everything down to 35 psi for all 4, and it's been riding perfect with no vibes since. So I think its highly possible all of your issues are due to the tire pressure alone.

got my gauge, here's what I measured...
    FR: 55psi
    FL: 55psi
    RR: 52psi
    RL: 54psi

I'll drop them all to 36psi and see what happens. I had to drive again this morning, and yeah as soon as I pass 50mph there is a weird noise/vibration coming out of the front right area. If the tire pressure doesn't fix one the only thing I could think of would be the trimmed fenders that's vibrating hard

Ok they're all at 36PSI now, pretty remove 20PSI of pressure on each tire. I'm hoping that was it!
I'll drive it in a few hours, gotta work a little bit now :p

ok guys, it was the tire pressure! like I said I set them up to 36PSI and it drove really good and easy. I just can't believe this shop didn't think of that. Worse I can't believe they did look into it when I called them to check the tire pressure. When I picked up the truck they even told me 50PSI is what those tires need with this size's truck! Sure won't recommend them to anyone..

    Anyway, moving on!

the bad news is that the noise/vibration is still there at around +50 mph. Hard to describe but I can hear and feel that is coming from the front right wheel.
I've checked there and the only loose part is the trimmed fender. So my guess is that the fender is vibrating/resonating because of the air circulation around the wheel. As soon as I drop under 50mph it stops.

anyone ever experienced something like that?

I have a strange vibrating noise comin from the right front area. I've been trying to figure out what it is and can't find it for the life of me. Mine is at low RPMs though, very rarely happens at higher speed. If I can ever find it I'll let you know what to check to see if it's the same for yours.

Glad you got the truck drivin right. I was startin to get pissed for ya.

Yo, I would have your truck taken to another tire shop to have the balanced checked. That could be causing the vibration, the vibration may be a tire out of balance, causing the tire to rub at rotation. Since they over-inflated your tires, it is possible, they also screwed up the balancing.
Could be worth checking. Could also be be a carrier bearing needing a drop.

glad i could help ya with the tire pressure thing but also if you are hearing that noise at 50mph+ check to see if you wheels are balanced correctly could always be that also

Is it consistent or does it change frequency and volume with different speeds? Mine would be really loud from 55-60 and then quiet down, always there but really bad at those speeds. Turned out it was a wheel bearing.
