procomp coil overs hitting..

i just added procomp coil overs to my 6" pro comp lift. now my stabilizer link bolts are hitting the coil over on the drivers side. has anyone else had this problem with there coil overs? can someone post pics of there coil overs from the front so i can get a look and see how to solve this problem short of removing the sway bar. of course this is on my 09 DC

 

Trim the end of the bolt.
hard to see but my link bolts were pretty close too. I trimmed them up a bit.

 

not sure about that lift kit, but did it come with sway bar relocation brackets?
most coilovers need a little more room and come with relocators.
other than that.. double check your install

 

sorry forgot to add that i had already trimmed the bolt and added a jam nut to each side. heres a pic that might shed light on what im talking about. it hits the spring now.

can i see a pick of how your sway bar is bolted to the spindle and the sway bar drop bracket

hmm they changed the way its mounted... mine is with the links on the top i think my sway bar was flipped

 

do you have any pics of how yours is mounted? that might be my answer.

yea yours is diffrent than mine. i called pro comp and they told me my link was supposed to face down but that they were supposed to fliup the sway bar over.. i dono wtf to do.

 

sounds like i need to call procomp and see whats up with the way mine it set up ...

pro comp told me they used to point them up as that was how they came from the factory but they had problems with them rubbing the tires so they moved them down. then your supposed to just flip the sway bar.

 

FML well i hope they send me that new bracket like the one you have so i can flip mine i just sent them a email
