Well, I pulled the trigger on the 6 inch lift kit...yes, a drop bracket, to yes...a prerunner 2wd. I was really leaning towards a maxtrac spindle lift kit until I read up on the "lift shield" warranty that procomp has for this kit when installed by an authorized shop, which I am doing. I also like that you don't have to hack up the frame, straight bolt in.

So, has anybody had this kit installed and how do you like it?

the kit is basically a EXPK5080B kit (if you look it up) with coilovers up front.

Three things: 1. Don't chop the cross-member out of your new truck 2. Don't buy Pro Comp 3. If you want to lift your Prerunner that much, Spindle lift is your best option

yup, there is no hacking on a 2wd, and like I said, that lift shield warranty given by procomp is what really made me get it..maxtrac is an awesome kit but I like the peace of mind that procomp has with their warranty...maxtrac doesn't have that.

Best of luck OP, I did not have a good experience with 4Wheel Parts, Pro Comp products. I would seriously search this forum and see how many have had a good experience with them.
