I just measured a coworkers Tacoma. The height of this rack will be even with the bottom of the third brake light.

So this should be awesome for carrying kayaks and can easily be made to carry ladders.

Very interested in this product, and glad you've proceeded with assembly.

As a Canadian, i'm pretty sure the majority of us stumble upon the question of shipping cost and if we'd be hit with duties across the border to our door. How long would a new product such as this take to be made/shipped and delivered to doors of your Canadian customers? (depending on demand of course) Will there be any type of warranty on this product? A triple folding Tonneau cover won't disturb the amount of length this product has when mounting to the pre-existing rails correct? (in the sense of it being fully folded with open box)

I see you also have the price listed at $400 currently, is that due to change or will this be a set price as of now? (not including shipping)

Would appreciate your information thank you.

Shipping to Canada will not be cheap, as the package will weigh in the neighborhood of 45 lbs, but I use USPS, so you won't get smacked with any duty.

This is an item that I will keep in stock, like all my other products.

I don't have a formal warranty process, but like anything else, if you have a problem, I will take care of you.

I doubt you could use this with any tonneau cover (see pic's).

As far as I know, the price will remain at $400 unless something major happens.

Great looking rack. If I didn't have a canopy, this is what I would want.

Any chance for an aluminum version

I'm not looking till maybe next Christmas, but I'd like something for a RTT but I'd like something not made of steel. Call me an Aluminum fan.

Any particular reason you would want aluminum?

This baby only weighs 45 pounds, and the powder coating will be excellent.

This looks good. I like the fact that it's lower that the roof line of the cab. And it's a great place to mount an antenna. I really didn't want to drill any holes...

Honestly I'd probably take the powdercoating off and have my own guy do it :anonymous:. Not because I think you'll do a bad job, but because I know a local guy who can do the colour to match my other stuff and then I don't have to worry about any possible shipping rash the product may develop on it's way to my house.

I know 45 pounds isn't much... but aluminum could cut that by 15 pounds at least. That's enough to matter to my rear suspension.

Plus I will scratch the powder coat, trust me, and I hate the look of rust. I know it'll still corrode, but not nearly as bad around here as steel does when scratched.

I'd still go with the steel version if the aluminum version isn't available, I was just hoping to check off another box for me (weight/rust savings).
