So it would go Plates->Toneau cover rails->factory cargo rails?

 

Picture the tonneau cover on top of the bracket in this pic.

 

I get that, but the way access rails are designed to be installed by taking the cargo rail off, installing a couple of spacers then reinstalling the cargo rails tucked up against the cover rail. Your pic shows the plates for the rack being attached to the cargo rail. That wouldn't work with the access cover design unless you changed how your plates mount to the truck. I'm not trying to be a pain, I'm very interested in the product, I just want to be sure it will work with the cover I have. I will upload pics in a minute.

 

It sounds like it may not work with the Access.

Remember I have your bed caps so will there be 2 holes in them like the bike mounts or no?

 

Nope, there will be three specific versions of these:

1) for 2nd gen with factory side rail caps
2) for 2nd gen with KB Voodoo side rail caps
3) for 3rd gen
