KB Voodoo - Can you somehow make it so that we can use Yakima or Thule crossbars? I've been a Yakima user for 30 years so everything I own (and I mean a LOT) is round bar compatible. My input. Thanks.

At the moment it's sized to fit Thule, who uses rectangular bars.

The other reason I like rectangular is so it can have a slot on top for bolting forks mounts and such to it.

I like it. A lot. Just a couple questions (which may have been answered, but I'm too lazy to scroll)....

    1) I've got the factory rail caps. What are the options if I decided to upgrade to the Voodoo Side Rail caps in a year or so?

    2) Any plans for a taller model that would put a kayak above the cab?

    3) What's the load rating again?

That's no problem, I'll work with you on that.

Here is my solution for that: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/product-introduction-kb-voodoo-bed-rack.403997/

I don't like to state exact weight capacities, because there are too many variables that come into play. That said, these will be strong enough to mount anything you want on them.

Parts will be cut and test fit next week. At that time I will list them on my website and they can be ordered.

I'll make a big batch, so there will be plenty to go around.

I'm not sure right now. But a cargo carrier or basket for summer trips. And maybe some day an RTT. But that's a ways away.

I have wanted to mount my thule box over my bed for a long time. Years ago I saw a full size lifted truck with twin boxes mounted over the bed. I loved the look.
I also managed to get stuck in a parking garage with my old truck because the box on the roof was just a tad to tall.....

What's your solution to prevent water from coming in under the "L" of the brackets? I'm very interested in this assuming it's compatible with Yakima / Thule.
