    To clarify, they don't actually "extend" but rotate up/out from a landscape when stowed down to a portrait when deployed up. I hope that terminology makes sense. :notsure:

    Cool point to note is that the mirror surface adjusts directionally from the dash pad identically whether stowed down or deployed up. Pretty cool engineering that impressed me when I first installed mine. :)

    Well, even the visibilty in them when stowed and not towing is a huge improvement over stock, plus heated is something I'd always wanted on my truck living up here. :)

    Ya i was thinking for the visibility and especially the blind spots. I got a base and no power or no heat. But you defiantly need it up in alaska!!!

    Just got mine installed and they ROCK!!! I'm an all thumbs guy and the install was a piece of cake. There is a little vibration, but well worth it to be able to see around the travel trailer. Great service too! THX mach1man001 :thumbsup:
