I'm just putting in a small momentary push button button stashed in a hidden spot that will simply trigger my timer relay for however long I set it for. Couldn't justify the cost of the toyota button.

The UPS guy just dropped these off at my house. :)
Does the whole door panel have to be removed in order to install these? Should have time to wire these up this weekend.

If you got heated or turn signal mirrors then yes, you have to remove the whole door panel to run the wires. The door panels are very easy to remove, it's a 30 second job. You'll spend more time and 4 letter words trying to get the wires through the rubber hose between the door and the cab :)

Have you confirmed the function of that relay you posted a few pages back? I put up a message and I'm not sure you have the relay you think you have. The one you posted a link to seems to be a time delay relay which means it puts a delay from when you press the switch to when it lets power pass through, not a duration in which it lets power pass through. They're common for motorcyclists with accessories. They install one of those to delay the power supply to the accessories so the battery isn't trying to fire the accessories while the starter is cranking. I could be wrong but it'd be worth testing beforehand.

Nope, mine are just the powered black ones. Looked to me like all I'd need to do is remove the top piece but saw somewhere where they said you had to remove the whole panel. Didn't look difficult but just wanted to make sure it was necessary

You'll have to remove the panel to get to the factory wiring harness for that also.

Guys, just a notice. I have updated the OP. Now that the mirrors are in, the GB will be ending at the end of the month. I just wanted to thank everybody for their order. This has been a very successful GB that has succeeded all expectations. Thank You

Received the mirrors about an hour ago. Already have them installed. Very high quality. They look awesome. Say bye bye to the POS strap ons. Thanks Rob.
