They were not to hard to install the bigger pain in the but was actually figuring out wires were the ones I needed. Just need my switch for the heat to come in. Looks good. Does anyone know if you have the DRL mod done if the signals would be on with both running and turn? Or are you able to run a 5 pole relay to have it switch from running light to turn signal?

DRL operation is going to depend on how your mods were done.

Normal DRL mods only impact the front signals, and I believe tapping into the normal ports for turn signals on the mirrors comes from the taillights, so they would be TS-only.

With factory DRL, you could tap into the front turn signals and that would give you DRL/TS, but it would not give you running lights.

If you modded a factory system to provide running lights, DRL, and turn signal, then the operation of the mirrors is going to depend on which of the half dozen methods you used to make the mod.

Probably, but they will still need to source the power mirror adjustment switch, as WE are going to keep them :D.

I know what you mean... I broke one of the glass panels removing them. It was pretty tense when I got the new Sienna mirrors and had to pop them out of their plastic backing.

    That's easy.
It's the connectors that aren't so easy to get.

    Yup...

And I extended the harnesses on my motorcycle 20" and ran them inside my ape hangers... I think I can handle splicing some Molex connectors onto the mirrors.

I like the idea of running them as running lights. Hookup would be really easy too, just tie into any circuit that gets 12v when ignition is turned on. I'm sure they only draw a couple watts being LED.

Even though the group buy is over, I am definitely interested in the ones with the heated mirrors and L.E.D. element in them in black . I have an 07' Tacoma so I will need to get the wiring harness too and hopefully it has good instructions.

Thank you Rob, the mirrors came today. Installed and tested. Took for a test drive, no vibration and can see everything! It will take trial and error to find the optimum adjustment.

    Sorry the pictures aren't better.

Timer relay is in, looks like it should do the job okay. 0-60m timer is a bit long lol, will prob just have it dialed into 5m.

Installed mirrors yesterday. Looks pretty good. They will be great for towing but the viability is much better even when you aren't towing.

    Hi Rob,

You get a chance to drop the mirrors off at USPS for us Canadians?
I'm heading up to Cochrane snowmobiling this coming weekend. After reading all these great reviews I'm hoping they get here on time.

    Shawn.
