If it’s well-built and correctly tuned, you can get some crazy bass from 6.5’s

that price tag isn’t super appealing though.

I can put 2 10’s on the back wall in a MrMarv custom box and retain the cubbies under the seat for less than that price

Yeah, that price is way high. Does it at least come with the subs? Even the JL steathbox is cheaper and comes with sub and the high price tag that JL puts on their products.

Without the subs, thats a $400 box at the most.

    It looks like enclosure only.

Im not sold on 6.5” subs either. They need a lot of excursion and power to produce deep bass, it’s just a lot more easy and efficient to do it with a 10” or 12” woofer.

I don’t feel like that box was really well thought out either. 1.3 ft3 ported volume is a shit ton of air space. You would need to use 3-4 subs in a box like that because 6.5” subs want much smaller boxes, but it has two holes...

I know people can be difficult and not want to compromise sometimes, so this box would be for “I wanna keep the back wall factory” guy, who wants subs but refuses to accept their terms and conditions pertaining to Tacoma installation. He can put this in, put amps under the seat and roll away happy, then come back here later asking why he keeps blowing 6.5” sub drivers.
