Does anyone know of a good chip for 09's

Check out Ebay. They have tons of chips for the Tacoma that will give you 75 more horses and 15 miles more per gallon at an amazing price of $19.89!

Had the APR X-1 been fitted to the 09s??

I thought I remembered reading that 09-10's couldn't use it quite yet....

 

not too sure...kinda just assumed so. lol i don't see why it'd be such a big deal for them to work with the 09 + though.

but yah id check up on that one.

 

There was some programming change to the 09's- Same reason that the TRD Supercharger reflash doesn't work with them. I think...

 

APR does not yet work with the 09+'s. Not sure if I'd expect it either. My understanding is that Toyota is "protecting" the new comp's wiring, i.e., is not releasing it to the aftermarket, hence no APR.

I believe that the MAF calibrator still works, but does require tapping into the wiring harness.

Otherwise, better save up for the SC.
