i came across a shop that will "tune" my truck to account for the 33" tires and th extra weight that comes with them. is this BS? i know programmers are bs....so is this even possible? and will a urd maf cal account for increased tire size or just exhaust and intake mods.

The URD MAF Cal modifies the signal from the MAF. The MAF has nothing to do with wheel and tire size and everything to do with fuel delivery.

There are no programmers for Tacomas. You can add a Superlift Truespeed to change the speedo reading.
