I have verified the following steps will work on a 2015... hope this helps.

Program remote transmitter when added, replaced or because of a system malfunction

    • Driver’ door open, all other doors closed
    • Within 5 seconds:
      • Insert and remove the key from the ignition switch twice
    • Within 40 seconds:
      • Close and open deriver’s door twice.
      • Insert and remove the key from the ignition switch
    • Within 40 seconds:
      • Close and open driver’s door twice
      • Insert the key into the ignition switch and close the driver’s door
    • Within 40 seconds:
      • Switch ignition ON and OFF once to program a remote transmitter code whilst retaining the original codes
      • twice to program a remote transmitter code whilst erasing the original codes.
      • Three time to check how many remote transmitters are currently registered
      • five times to erase all registered codes.
      • Remove key from ignition switch
    • System should now lock and unlock vehicle once, twice or five times depending which mode has been selected or one to four times, slowly, to indicate number of remote transmitters registered.
    • Within 45 seconds:
      • Press and hold LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for 1.5 seconds
    • Within 3 seconds: Press and release LOCK or UNLOCK button
    • System should now lock and unlock vehicle once to confirm registration twice to indicate registration has failed
    • Within 45 seconds: Repeat button procedure to program remaining remote transmitters
    • NOTE: To exit programming mode: Open driver’s door.
    • NOTE: A maximum of 4 remote transmitters can be programmed

Thanks for this post! I had an appointment to spend a small fortune at the dealership for a FOB and a key. Instead, I got 2 FOBs, a key, and programmer for the keys on Amazon for $60! FOBs both work great and I'm just waiting for the key programmer. Hopefully, that goes smoothly as well!

One question for you all though. According to the instructions, after successfully programming a FOB, the doors are supposed to cycle once if it works right and twice if there is an error. When I finished, it cycled twice after each FOB, but they both work. Any ideas why it would cycle twice and is this something I should be concerned about?

Not sure if it makes a difference, but I have a 2006 double cab, TRD Sport, SR5.

maybe a stoooopid question...my truck doesn't have factory remote entry...does that mean there is no receiver in the truck's harness? Or did they just not provide transponder keys? Would like to add keyless stuff if it is still possible...anyone have a few sentences which would clear up my options?
